You Will Need:
Heavy duty black garbage bags
scissors
masking tape or black electrical tape

Directions:
Shroud your entrance in darkness: strips of torn plastic to twist in the wind.

1. Lay a heavy duty black garbage bag flat on a work surface, open end toward you.

2. With scissors cut both sides of the bag up to the seam

3 . With scissors, cut 1 1/2-inch vertical strips from the bottom, stopping a few inches from the top

4 . Use masking tape or tacks to hang.

5. With hands a few inches apart, grasp each strand and pull; stretch strands in several places for a decrepit effect. (photo 5)

My notes: I chose black electrical tape because it’s less noticeable. Note that when stretching the strands be aware of too much force, however if a strand is ripped (and it will happen several times) you can tape the spots or keep it for length difference as shown in photo.
