You Will Need:
Orange chair covers or orange fabric
Black ribbon and Black lace
Cream table cloth or fabric
Orange Napkins or squares cut from orange chair fabric
Black roses or red sprayed with black floral spray
Gold/Orange accent plate or charger, black plates and optional white plate
Cauldron of dry ice or mist maker
Candelabra

Directions:
01. Start with the orange chair covers or orange fabric. Be sure to measure how long and how wide you will need the fabric to fit over the chairs. Note: If you can’t/don’t want to sew the frayed ends of the cut fabric, buy some fabric glue! When placing the chair covers over the chair, take note of the length of the chair cover when sitting down as you may need excess fabric!

02. Tie the black lace/ribbon around the top of the chair. The photograph shows a cut out star securing the tie, however you don’t have to follow exactly. You could easily leave enough room to tie the fabric in a beautiful bow. You can also tie the lace/ribbon just above the seat cushion!

03. Place the table cloth over the table, make sure you measure how big the table is so the cloth/fabric fits evenly around all sides of the table. Again to avoid any sewing you can simply buy some fabric glue and fold a small edge (on all sides) toward the inside. After gluing flip it over to reveal the clean edges. You can also iron out any wrinkles with a warm iron and spray water bottle for stubborn creases. Make sure you use an ironing board as heat can ruin a finished table.

04. Place your plates around the table based on how many guests are attending. The photograph shows gold accent plates under the main plates, however, it is not required. Black and white plates would do just fine.

05. Now gather all the orange napkins. Note I mentioned you can buy orange napkins or get additional chair cover material and cut out square napkins, always make a few extra just incase. You can also fix any frayed edges again by using fabric glue, fold an edge all the way around and glue. Bunch each napkin in the center very loosely, place the black rose in the center and tie the ribbon loosely around. Place each napkin and rose in the center of each plate. If you can’t find black roses, simply use black floral spray or flat black spray paint. Make sure you spray in light coats, leave out with plenty of time to dry and to air out any chemical smell.

06. Place a plastic cauldron in the center of the table, a small or medium size will work. Fill a little less than half the cauldron with warm water. Break up the dry ice in a wrapped plastic garbage/paper bag by hitting gently with a hammer. Please wear gloves when handling dry ice! Place a few chunks of dry ice into the cauldron, slowly add pieces to get the desired fogging effect. You could also add food coloring to the water for a creepy effect. I have also heard some people have added glow sticks to their cauldrons, green, orange etc. Exercise caution as I have never personally tried adding a glow stick. If you can’t/don’t want to use dry ice, simply buy a mist maker! Available at most Halloween stores or online. Misters will show a cord and you could hide it under the table cloth if you so wish. You will have to cut a tiny hole in the table cloth to hide the power cord.

07. Add the Candelabra and light the candles! Accent with wine glasses or spooky punch! Don’t forget the silverware and the spooky music!
