With and Cat Lawn Ornaments

YOU WILL NEED:
4-by-8 foot piece of 3/4 inch plywood for witch
4-by-4 foot piece for 3 cats
Respositionable spray ashesive (or staple gun)
Jigsaw
Black latex paint and paint brush
Hammer and screwdriver
6-foot piece of heavy-wall conduit for witch
3 foot piece for each cat
4-two hole conduit straps
8 wood screws for witch
2 two-hole straps
4 screws per cat, broom, cup hook, and lantern

DIRECTIONS:
01. Download full size (72 inches for witch pdf template, 25-30 inches for cats pdf template) templates, which you can print in sections and tape together, or draw your own using other stencils as a guide.

02. Cut out and affix to plywood with repositionable spray adhesive or staple gun.

03. With a jigsaw, cut out design; peel off template, and paint plywood black. Let dry for 30 minutes.

04. Hammer conduits into ground, sinking 12 inches for witch and 8 inches for cats.

05. Attach figures to conduits using 3 conduit straps and 6 screws for the witch and 2 conduit straps and 4 screws for each cat.

06. Fasten a broom to the witch's raised arm with remaining conduit strap and screws. Attach a cup hook to her other hand, and hang a lantern from it.

My notes: Above are my photos of how it turned out, rather well I might add. I didn't use repositionable spray and used a staple gun, probably not the best idea but my dad did the cutting. It also took about and hour or so for each to dry, depending on weather conditions. After cutting out your designs, make sure the area is free of saw dust, including dusting off all areas of the cut out shapes. For my lantern I used the Owl Lantern from Illuminations.com, for the lights I used 2 orange(also called amber) par38 flood light and 2 lawn stake spotlights from Home Depot.
