Just a quick post to let you know of a few additions made to the website. The TV guide has been updated, TWO new wallpapers have been added as well as a NEW wine label. More updates coming this Sunday.
It seems every year around August, I am always bitten by the Halloween bug, dead smack in the middle of a heat wave! The heat certainly put a damper in my early Halloween spirits. Luckily I can get an early Halloween fix and cool off a bit with a Starbuck’s pumpkin spice frappuccino. I always anticipate the cool weather, pumpkins at the grocery store and the brilliant shades of red and orange leaves. Even now, California has about two week s of summer left. The miraculous fall season is the special treat to the end of a very hot and very long summer.
Each year I challenge myself to do something new, something spooky, something interesting and filled to the brim with Halloween spirit. I scour through magazines, websites, links and images to find the most interesting Halloween content I can find. With the popularity of Pinterest, it’s now even easier to find new ideas for Halloween. While working on the 2012 website, I decided to shift the focus from a new design to simply updating and improving the existing website. All recipes and entertaining ideas are easily accessible, click an image to go directly to the recipe or how-to. A new section has been added to entertaining called “Pinspiration.” The Pinspiration section will highlight choice pins from various Pinterest users and will cover all areas of Halloween.
This year, Oct31st is celebrating its ten year anniversary. The website started in 2002 and has continued to change and grow tremendously in that time. Just as previous years, you can expect lots of new updates added regularly to the website. You can also expect some fun giveaways, downloads and lots more. Just about every section of the website has been updated and new content will continue to be added each week.
Thank you for the continued support and let the haunting season begin!
Brand new site updates have been added, including a new Skull wallpaper, lightning and thunder audio, Bat Wings wine label, Bloody Pomegranate Cosmos, Franksenstein Reviver, Witches Brooms, Spider Egg Sac, Snake Wreath and creepy Specimen Jars.
The day Halloween fans have been waiting for all year long is finally here, October first! Halloween can never come fast enough, but once it’s here, I go into full Halloween mode. October first marks the beginning of the Halloween season. I like to start the festivities right with spooky music, scented candles, movies and decorations. The days finally begin to cool, the leaves change to beautiful colors and night comes early.
